The construction of a river road bridge over the Senqu river in Lesotho. The Senqu river is better known as the Orange river when it enters South Africa. With its origin high in the Maluti mountains of Lesotho it is one of a few perennial rivers in South Africa. At present people are ferried across the river by means of row boats. The completion of this project will have a life changing effect on the day to day activities of these people.
As a result of the unpredictable rise in the level of the water due to the vast catchment area of the river, our time lapse systems are used to great effect monitoring the level of the river and providing high definition progress pictures to the Client of the project on a daily basis.
